A small fraction of what’s involved when I do front doors Especially black gloss 💣 Once again epoxy resin being the only thing used on my clients external repairs, ranging from wood and stone and specific areas such a doors, windows, facia and soffits. Staying well away from traditional fillers for repairs especially on front doors which are heavily subject to hot, wet and cold changes. Full external repairs and finishing in a high texture coatings

Window sills restored, templated out using a PVC capping A combination primers,@toupretuk and exterior mesh embedded and wrapped around the full sills

Re grinding a drip grove out and finishing in @bedecproducts barn paint

@surreystonestucco.co.uk working his magic on a full replacement to the far left will that was beyond repairs.

Another part of the Ewell village job to show was the sills

Poor work done to them previously (within the last year), didn’t last at all.

Complete strip back to stone work with preparation to the surface being the most important.

Going to edit a little real to show clients the process completely but here are the before, during and afters

Stripped back, grinding out flat, primed and based out with exterior mesh embedded to strengthen up areas with more filler, skimmed and primed out.

@surreystonestucco.co.uk changing out the far left one for us due to it being completely rotten and not worth the labour in fixing

Full house exterior redecoration 🏠

This project completed over in #ewellvillage started off simple enough but after a few days in the preparation phase a fair amount of issues were highlighted.

Bad paint work previously applied before, mostly due to zero surface prep most was painted over surface mould.

Cracks had been face filled with no real care causing some internal water ingress.

With that the power washing phase soon highlighted how much had to come off back to bare render underlaying cracks, no adhesion in the paint work and the texture to match.

Everything was power washed exposing all the unstable areas
Scraping right back to a solid edge
Applying a mould fungicide
All cracks machine grinded out
Surface was stabilised filled out and brought up to level

@sandtexpaintsuk was used to base coat all the bare/filler areas out then finishing the entire building in sandex high build texture paint all finished in light magnolia.

Not easy stuff to use but I was set getting the masonry to a full uniform textured finish.

Results speak for themselves, clients were amazing from day one even with the adjustments in price to what presented itself.
