This bespoke MDF unit was sprayed onsite to a high-end finish, completely transforming the living area. It was one of my favourite projects, with plenty of challenges that made it a fun and rewarding job.

Planning and Protection

Every bespoke unit project starts with careful measurement and planning. This unit was designed to fit perfectly around the fireplace and TV area of the living room.

A huge amount of protection was laid down to prevent overspray reaching floors, walls, or furniture. I developed a system to contain the paint while leaving enough room to work efficiently.

Spraying the MDF Unit

Once everything was prepared, I sprayed the unit from start to finish. Spraying provides a flawless, smooth finish that hand painting cannot achieve.

This method ensures an even and consistent sheen across all surfaces. The colour was carefully chosen to complement the room and integrate seamlessly with the design.

Final Finish and Result

The completed unit looks sleek, modern, and professionally finished. The living area was completely transformed, and the client was delighted with the result.
