Another amazing transformation on an original bespoke front door for repeat clients who discovered Finishing Touch through a previous door restoration project. Every joint was reinforced using Timbabuild resin to provide lasting strength and flexibility, ensuring they would never reopen. A range of Toupret fillers were applied to specific areas, with heavy cycles of filling and sanding to bring the surface to an ultra smooth level. The entire door was then traditionally hand painted using the Dulux weathershield high gloss system, a product that delivers an unbeatable sheen. The clients chose Oxford blue, a deep tone that presented real challenges during application due to its richness, but the finished result speaks for itself with its stunning, lustrous sheen.
