Harry is our go-to painter. He did a brilliant job for us on our kitchen furniture, hand painting everything to the highest standard. When it came to our hallway, stairs and landing, there was no hesitation, Harry was our man. Harry did not disappoint, in fact he exceeded our expectations. The Harry secret sauce, that sets him apart from all others, is the time and effort he puts into preparation. A good 80% of his time on the job is focussed on ensuring that all surfaces are fully prepped, primed and ready for the top coats. Harry's attention to detail is amazing, the smallest cracks or imperfections are identified and Harry sets about fixing and removing them so that they are invisible when the job is done, and more importantly, are less likely to re-occur. He only uses the best fillers and primers etc, and that they are right for the task. We would only have Harry back to do any further work for us, as anybody else would not have our confidence. Thinking that my original 1930s door was beyond repair, I approached a local business who made bespoke doors. They put me onto Harry, advising that a restoration job would be a much cheaper option. We employed Finishing Touch to have the outside of our house painted. Harry's quote was extremely detailed very explanatory and his communication was excellent as we had to change the date due to weather delays. Our house has pebble dash which needed a lot of TLC. Harry's preparation work was second to none and the finishing touch is in the photos. He was very thorough and kept us informed at all stages and was very generous at giving advice. So, if you are looking for someone who takes great pride in his work, is diligent, enthusiastic, gives attention to detail and likes to listen to Magic Soul, then Harry is your man. Thanks also to his colleague Sam who helped during the first week. As part of Harry's original remit, we asked him to sand and varnish our front oak door. This proved to be a real challenge for various reasons and Harry's diligence and expertise was tested to the limit. He did a lot of research online and with other colleagues and we eventually decided to upgrade and have it stripped back to bare wood and then a varnish to be done at a later date. So glad we did as we are really pleased with Harry's work and the door!

We employed Harry this time to sort out an ongoing crack on the ceiling in our kitchen. It's a settlement crack that has been repaired, sort of, over the years but within months it just looked the same. Harry's attention to detail and fastidiousness came to the fore.
